• This category of visa is for people that have skills, qualifications and experience New Zealand needs
• This visa allows you to move to New Zealand to work and live permanently
• Resident visa granted under this category will allow you to travel outside New Zealand in the first 2 years of residence
• An application for Permanent Resident visa can be applied for, post the 2 year duration

Eligibility

• You must be below 55 years at the time of application
• Must have a recognized qualification gained in New Zealand
• Must have Competent + or higher English language proficiency
• Must have skills corresponding to the Absolute Skills Shortage list
