• This type of visa is granted to those who have experience in cultural or athletics and intending to contribute to the cultural or athletic life in Canada
• It is also for people experienced in farm management intending to buy and manage a farm in Canada
• It is a point based system
• An Applicant should either be a participant or self employed, holding a record in cultural or athletics at a world class level
• Should have experience in managing a farm
• At least 2 years of experience from the day application is lodged
• An Applicant Should get at least 35 points out of 100; this includes age, experience, education, language ability, and adaptability.

• This Visa is for applicants whose sponsor is a citizen or a permanent resident of Canada
• Sponsorship will be available under Family Class
• Parents and grandparents can also be sponsored under Super Visa
• The sponsored candidate must be a relative
• The sponsor must be able to take care of basic necessities such as food, clothing, shelter, of himself and the relative
• This Visa helps an applicant to study work & live in Canada
• An Applicant must be a spouse, dependent child, common law partner and an eligible relative like parents, grandparents to the sponsor
• A sponsor must be 18 years of age or more
• A proof showing the relationship with the sponsor
• A valid passport copy
• Apply in writing at the Case Processing Center in Canada to sponsor as a permanent resident/ citizen
• The sponsored candidate must apply for permanent residence
• Pay the fees
• Submit sponsorship application and permanent residence at the same time

Note: Certain relatives are exempt from paying the PR fee. They are as follows:
i) Principal applicants dependent children
ii) Principal applicant who is the dependent child of a Permanent resident or a citizen
iii) Protected persons and their family members
• This type of visa is granted through the province where an applicant wishes to immigrate to settle through the nomination process
• Provinces and territories can nominate immigrants on the basis of their skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy
• Each province / territory has its own stream and criteria for their PNP. It can have programs for students, businesses, skilled or semi-skilled workers
• The below are the provinces and territories that are included under the provincial nomination program:
• Alberta • Manitoba • Newfoundland Labrador • Ontario • Saskatchewan • British Colombia • New Brunswick • Nova Scotia • Prince Edward Island
• If the applicant is nominated under a Non-Express Entry stream, a paper based application must be made
• If the province/ territory nominates you, an application must be sent to CIC
• If the applicant is nominated under a province/ territory under the Express Entry stream, then he must meet the requirements of the Immigration program and complete Express Entry profile
• Express Entry profile can be updated if the province/ territory nominates after the application is made
• Meet English language requirement
• Meet the medical requirement for self and dependent
• Should show that sufficient funds are available to support themselves or their family to travel Canada
• A valid passport copy
Paper based application
• Receive a provincial nomination certificate from the province or territory once you have been nominated
• Print the validated generic application form, including bar code
• Should make a Separate application to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada to receive a Canadian Permanent Resident Visa
• Pay application and PR fee
• Mail the application and fee/ fee receipt to Centralized Intake office
Express Entry application
• Submit Express Entry profile
• Get Express Entry stream nomination. The province/ territory must confirm nomination electronically
• Contact province/ territory directly and provide Express Entry profile number & Job Seeker validation code
• Once confirmed by CIC, applicant will receive a message in MyCIC for acceptance of nomination
• An additional 600 points will be awarded in your Comprehensive Ranking System, expediting the Invitation to apply for Visa
• Upon receiving the letter, an electronic submission of application must be made along with uploading supporting documents and fees
Note: If the province/ territory withdraws the application before/ after ITA, the candidate must withdraw the current profile and submit a new one.
