Business

About this Visa

• This visa is a temporary visa which is granted for a business visitor intending to grow his business, invest or advance business ties
• The visa may be stamped for 6 months or less.
• The applicant can attend business meetings, conference or conduct site visit to make observation, attend products and sales training that are conducted by the company in Canada or by a distributer

Eligibility

• The applicants must prove that their main business and source of income is from outside Canada
• An invite from the potential business partner
• An applicant should hold a letter from the company which attests that the business visitor or the applicant is employed full time by the company.
• A verification letter which states that the applicant is not coming to Canada for employment
• The business visitor who is applying for the visa should not have any criminal records or health problems
• An applicant should have a valid passport
• A resume which shows that the applicant has experience to conduct the training and that they are fully employed by the foreign company and are entering for conducting the training on a particular product
• An itinerary which shows the activities from starting to ending after entering Canada
• A proof which establishes that there are sufficient ties to the applicant home country

Visit Child/ Grandchild

About this Visa

• It is also called the Super Visa and visa stamping can be for up to 10 years
• The applicant must be a parent or a grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident
• The applicant must not have any restrictions to travel to Canada
• Only spouse can be included as a dependent in this visa

Eligibility

• Necessary documents that shows an applicant will come back to the home country
• Purpose of the Visit
• Family background and financial status of the applicant
• The applicant must prove that the Canadian child/ grandchild meets the minimum income threshold
• Invitation letter/ written statement from the Canadian (sponsor) about providing financial support
• Should show a valid Canadian medical insurance coverage for at least one year The Sponsor should have an immigration medical exam

Temporary Work Permit

About this Visa

• Refers to those skilled workers who have a temporary offer of employment from Canadian employer and should be granted a temporary work permit by employment and social development Canada (ESDC)
• A Temporary Work Permit is issued for a period of time ranging from a few days to a few years
• The process of applying for a Work Permit is twofold. First, the Canadian employer must receive government permission to hire from outside Canada. Once this permission has been granted, the designated employee must apply for and receive their Work Permit
• A Work Permit granted for a specific job in Canada will be tied to that job. This means that an employee may only work for the employer specified on their Work Permit. If they find different employment, they must apply for and receive a new Work Permit before performing another job in Canada

• A job offer or the contract from the employer which includes wages, job title and working conditions
• An applicant should hold a copy of labor market impact assessment (LMIA) provided by employment and social development Canada
• An applicant should have a copy of the nomination letter issued by the province or territory that nominated the applicant
• Proof showing that the applicant meets the requirement of job offered

• Get positive LMIA and job offer from the employer OR the Id number the employer received through employment portal
• Submit work experience and education documents
• Foreign skilled worker applies for Work Permit

Intra-Company Transfer

About this Visa

• This type of visa is for the transfer of employees from a foreign-based company to its Canadian company
• This category of visa permits international companies to temporarily transfer qualified employees to Canada
• This type of visa is to encourage the transmission of knowledge from foreign senior-level or specialized-knowledge employees to Canada

Eligibility

• Currently employed by a multi-national company seeking entry to work in its affiliated enterprise
• Candidate is being transferred in an executive, senior managerial or specialized knowledge capacity
• Have worked for a foreign company for at least one year in the last 3 years on a full-time basis
• Have been offered a position with a Canadian branch, affiliate or subsidiary/parent of the foreign company
Evidence that an employer is a legal entity may be articles of incorporation, partnership agreements, license to do business, evidence of registration with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) as an employer.
