Returning Resident Visas
This visa is required when one was previously settled in the UK and wants to return with an intention to permanently live there.
Eligibility
• must have been settled in the UK prior to last departure
• must have been away from UK for more than 2 years
• must provide evidence of strong ties to the UK, eg rental agreement, property or income document
• must provide documents like the passport and photographs
Process
• must apply online with all supporting documents
• have biometric information taken at a visa application center
• pay fees
